Accelerated PEP is a semester-long course that satisfies McMinnville High School’s PEP graduation requirement. The course content focuses on developing the skills necessary for life after high school. In this course students will understand Growth Mindset, create SMART goals, practice self-advocacy strategies, develop job readiness skills, explore college and career opportunities, and learn financial literacy.

Functional Math 1 is an adapted Math course for students with an IEP who will find success in a mainstream Math course challenging. This course is ideal for students that need to improve basic math skills. Another focus of this class is functional math skills that emphasize using math in day to day life as an adult, including time and money. The Special Education team selects students for this course based on the students' present levels in math. May only be taken for Math Credit on a Modified Diploma.

This course offers hands on experiences in working with fellow students with disabilities. Peers will learn many aspects of teaching, lesson planning, current issues in special education in the class and community. Interview and teacher signature required. May take more than once per credit.
This course is an elective credit requiring teacher approval for any student interested in participating in our integrated PE class providing extra assistance with games and exercise activities for this population of students. May take more than once per credit.

Designed for students on an IEP requiring assistance in social and community interactions. Students will work on their specific speech goals by participating in guided social situations with classmates, peer tutors, and speech language pathologists.
Designed for students on an IEP to practice practical time and money skills, participate in varied community interactions, and learn about possible job opportunities. Students will go on field trips in the community to practice the skills learned in the classroom.
For students on an IEP who need additional support for activities of daily living and vocational training. Students will use gross and fine motor skills to follow a regular work routine, follow directions, sort materials, and follow a task to completion.
This course is designed to prepare students with an IEP for high school level mathematics. The topics covered include foundational skills to aide in student understanding of algebra concepts.
