Special Education

Functional Math 1 is an adapted Math course for students with an IEP who will find success in a mainstream Math course challenging.  This course is ideal for students that need to improve basic math skills.  Another focus of this class is functional math skills that emphasize using math in day to day life as an adult, including time and money.  The Special Education team selects students for this course based on the students' present levels in math. May only be taken for Math Credit on a Modified Diploma.
