Economics is how an individual, a family, business or nation fulfills their unlimited wants ( a new phone, a vacation, etc.) using their limited resources (money, time etc.) This is the problem of scarcity. In this 1 semester class you will consider the immediate and long term economic and social effects of choices. Topics include Needs Vs Wants, Micro Vs Macro, the 5 Factors of Production, Supply and Demand, Economic Systems, Economic Stress Factors, and Globalization.
