Library aides work alongside library staff to learn real world library & information service skills. Students are trained to use live circulation software, shelve materials, assist with displays and deliveries, and help patrons locate resources. Students will also learn about careers in the field of Library and Information Science and how libraries play a role in educating people who are not college-bound.
Grades: 10-12
