Leadership

The Introduction to Leadership course is designed for students to gain an understanding of and develop their personal leadership style, skills and behavior. Students will spend time learning about McMinnville High School’s student body, options for getting involved on campus and opportunities for service learning in the greater McMinnville community. Additionally, students will learn the basics of event planning and facilitation, fundraising, advertising, campaigning and other skills that can translate to involvement in athletics, academics, clubs and other leadership positions. Service learning is a requirement for this course, students may also be required to attend field trips and service opportunities off campus throughout the duration of the course.
