This class introduces students to the physical practice and benefits of yoga with emphasis on building skills for emotional-regulation, mindfulness and stress management, and personal wellness. * Because this course combines both physical activity and mindfulness, excellent attendance is required to earn PE credit. No more than six absences and an earned grade of a B will qualify as PE credit if the student chooses. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Fitness 1 or 10th grade standing.
