Pathway: Visual Communication

The Visual Communications Pathway introduces students to the many aspects of media. Print media opportunities include the annual yearbook or the school’s award winning newspaper, The Bruin. Students will broaden their skills in both news production and in media technology with the addition of the online Bruin broadcasting and video production. Students may also select to participate in the development of podcasts as well as get real-life experiences being a commentator for school athletic and activity programs that air on TV. There is much to do as new technology advances in this pathway.
