MWOE is an online educational program available for MSD 10th-12th graders who apply and receive administrative approval. 9th graders are considered only via administration or counselor recommendation.  Students can be enrolled full-time or part-time in conjunction with MHS classes. While the program is online, it is not fully remote and has in-person testing requirements at Adams Campus. Students are expected to be self-directed and maintain consistent progress to remain enrolled in the program.

The Emotional Growth Center (EGC) is designed to meet the student’s individual needs by providing social and emotional support as well as evaluation and stabilization in the same setting. Social emotional skill-building is the central component of EGC.

Transition E-Lab

Transition is an online credit recovery program which allows students the opportunity to retrieve credit for classes they have previously failed. The program is designed to help students make the maximum amount of progress in the minimum amount of time.

9-10 Foundations

Foundations is an elective, alternative education course for students that may be struggling with their academics and are interested in developing a variety of skills to build confidence that facilitates success in and outside of the classroom. Foundations follows “The Discovery Model'' that focuses on skills such as effective groups, anger/emotional management, communication skills, assertiveness training, and problem solving/conflict resolution. Upon completion of this course with a passing grade, students will become eligible to start credit recovery courses.
