Pathway: Performing Arts - Music

Music is an integral part of everyday life.  The Performing Arts—Music Pathway will not only teach you the fundamentals of music, but will also encourage you to grow as a performer through the extensive stage experience.  Additionally, you will practice life skills needed to succeed in any group or team activity, as each performing group becomes family.  Your life will be enriched by the opportunity to create with others and express yourself through musical performance.

Guitar

Guitar is one of the most flexible instruments of all. This class will focus on learning to read notes, rhythms, and chords. Students will learn basic right hand and left hand technique, and will be able to be successful in any style of music.May take more than once for credit.

Concert Band
