Dropping a Class

Freshmen and sophomores are not allowed to drop any classes. Juniors and seniors, if on track to graduate, may drop a class for an “Open Period” during the first two weeks (ten school days), of each semester. They must complete and return the “Open Period Request” form to their counselor. Any class drops requested after the first two weeks (10 school days), will require a completed “Open Period Request” form and the student will receive an “F” for the class dropped.
